How Old Can You Be To Drive Our Vehicles?

Having provided luxury car hire in Mayfair and the surrounding areas for many years, there are an array of questions that we are regularly asked when clients enquire. One of the most common questions, which plays a pivotal role in whether you can go ahead with your booking, is the age that you must be. To ensure that no clients are disappointed, we have put together all the information needed to answer the question “how old can you be to drive our vehicles?”. Answer: How Old Can You Be To Drive Our Vehicles? When renting a vehicle from any company, there will always be a set of age restrictions that you must comply with. Unfortunately, although you may have been driving for several years without any problems, this does not necessarily mean that you will fit the criteria to be granted access to car rentals. Royal Rentals has strict age restrictions on all vehicles available for hire; it is highly recommended to research these limits before enquiring. In setting age requirements, we can ensure that all clients remain safe and thoroughly enjoy the duration of their rental, free from any problems. Below we have put together the age limits for each of the car rental categories available at Royal Rentals: Prestige Vehicles – Those interested in hiring one of our prestige vehicles must be over the age of 28; this also includes our 4×4 car hire. Drivers must have had their licence for at least three years and have no driving-related convictions Supercars – Only drivers over the age of 30 can hire one of our many supercars. Similar to the above, they must have been driving for a minimum of three years and have a clean record. Second Drivers – Regardless of the car that you choose to hire, any second drivers must meet the minimum age limit of 28 or older before they are insured. The above restrictions relate to all car hire types available at Royal Rentals, whether this may be for a wedding, corporate event or music video. What If I Am Under The Age Limit? Having worked in the industry for many years, Royal Rentals recognises that car enthusiasts can come at any age, which is why we do not limit clients from enjoying our vehicles. If you are below the age restrictions, then you can choose our chauffeur-driven services. This is a popular choice for those who are interested in our prom car rental, allowing teens to turn up to their end-of-year celebrations in style. All of our chauffeurs have been fully CRB checked to an advanced level before working with any clients, along with additional employment checks completed by Royal Rentals.
